KEY STAGE III AND
IV (Year 7 to Year 11)
The programme at this level has three groups.
Years 7 and 8 follow Key Stage III
within the framework of the National Curriculum. These two
years expose the child to a wide range of subjects- English,
Mathematics, Social Studies, Combined Science, Computer
Studies, Art and Second Language. This integrated academic
course lays the foundation for subject options in Year 9.
Years 9, 10, and 11 prepare the students
for the I Examination in 7 subjects. Assessment is carried
out in accordance to the 7 point scale system of the Grades A to G. Skills learnt at Key Stages 1,2 and 3
are brought into sharp focus as the student enters this level.
Independent thinking, collection of valuable
resource materials and effective communication skills are
essential for the students to achieve a high level of success
in the Examination.
Year 12 prepares students for the
Advanced Level Examinations in Mathematics,
Physics, Chemistry and Biology. These courses are especially
designed for students who are in pursuit of university education.
Assessments in the Middle and Senior Schools
are through weekly tests and term examinations. After school
classes provide academic support and offer further opportunities
for students to improve their performance.
