Key Stage 2 (Year 3 - Year 6)

The core curriculum comprises Tamil, English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Computer Studies. The second language option of French, Hindi is introduced at this level with the objective of adding to the communication skills of a child. These are study years where the child gains the foundation of core curriculum subjects.

Art, Music, Elocution, Public Speaking, Drama and Physical Education support the core curriculum. Not only do these subjects contribute to the creative flowering of the child but they also add necessary skills to the child's learning techniques. While Physical Education teaches discipline of the mind and body, Art contributes to learning presentation skills. Music inculcates knowledge of harmony. Public Speaking, Drama, Elocution aid in the expressive capability of the child, especially in proper pronunciation and intonation in spoken languages building confidence. 

At this stage, the child is old enough to acquire a socially acceptable behavioural pattern. Hence, stress is also laid on learning social etiquette and sound values that will help the child through life.
